uatre Saisons founders did not follow this commercial challenge. No doubt they did not agree with this consumerist point of view:  furniture which is abandoned when you move or change atmosphere. They had opted for and proposed scalable and modular furniture that was sustainable over time as required, and never went  out of fashion. Different times, different ways of doing things. Nowadays companies wanted managers as much as they did  creators. Georges Asseraf,  manager in place, bought Quatre Saisons from the founders in 1985. He continued the business differently,  setting up shops in shopping centers that went up rapidly in and around French towns in the 1990’s.
