The installation of professional or private working spaces represented an important sector of the Quatre Saisons business. René Legrand had redesigned the classic workshop beech trestle in two versions: fixed and adjustable in order to reduce the space it took up. Two trestles and a framed wooden board make a nice Quatre Saisons working table. One trestle and a stack of two drawer-units on the other side, plus a framed wooden board, make a nice and efficient desk. The boards measured from 90 to 180 cm in length and were available in natural finish or varnished and painted. They were also available plated with a matt laminate color for desks in children’s bedrooms.
