In the 70-80’s the choice for furnishing a kitchen was between white laminate furniture built at your exact measure by carpenters and few beautiful Italian design kitchen at a very high price. Quatre Saisons was among the first shops to propose a range of modules in solid wood to stack on each other or next to the other, offering many possibilities of combination, in order to let its customers compose their own kitchen with built-in oven, fridge and sink, fulfilling exactly their needs and adjustable to their space. Moreover the Quatre Saisons kitchen could be installed by the customers themselves. These modules were drawer-units for the kitchen (K) in ash wood, usually varnished or painted. The worktops could be in Ash varnished or painted as well, or even in butcher’s block, or with a laminate finish in a choice of strong colors.
