he name Quatre Saisons refers to the traditional, simple and good living food shops that existed in the 1960’s. It calls to mind the typical stalls and carts for vegetables, fruits or flowers, parked along commercial streets at the time. With this reference, the name “Quatre Saisons” wished to express the simple and convenient use, whatever your age, of these objects and furniture that can be adopted both in the city or in the countryside.

The “Quatre Saisons” logo, framed with round corners, was inspired by the very simple rubber stamps used by local shops. The red and blue painted facades were reminiscent of the popular shops selling paint and supplies. Later, a big “4” was added inside the logo, with an elongated horizontal bar, designed by family friend Mathild Staib.
