his first store outside of Paris was the result of a collaboration with a couple from Dijon. The store was downtown and very well located. It took its spirit from the Parisian stores and brought to the city of Dijon a new style, young and colorful, which woke the Burgundy  town from its slumber. The owners of the shop hade free rein to order pieces of their choosing; the franchise system had not yet developed in France, and the relations between a corporation and its subsidiaries depended mainly on the human interactions between the two parties. The store in Dijon thus lived a life of its own, fully independent.
